    Default Des Moines chemical plant fire

    Barton Solvents in Des Moines caught fire this afternoon.....Cool video here.

    I work as a medic out in Dallas County...just west of the Des Moines Metro. Ran a trip into the hospital this afternoon and could see the smoke plume from almost 20 miles away.

    Pretty cool watching it go down live on TV...looked like a bitch to fight!

    Just did that whole chemical plant fire thing myself a few months ago.

    Strange thing is this same company had another plant go up earlier this summer in Wichita???
