    Default Forcible Entry Books?

Does anyone here know of any really good books on forcible entry?

The Fire Officer's Handbook of Tactics has a good chapter on F/E.

Tools of the Trade is a good book on how to properly use forcible entry tools.

There isn't much worth while out their. Richard Fritz's Tools of the Trade book and videos has some good info and Tommy Brennan's Forcible Entry video series as well. I think part of the problem with the book is trying to convey the techniques, it's easier to understand from video demonstration. Nothing can compare with experience and hands-on training, but a book or video is a place to start when those are not readily avaliable.

Also Miitendorf's Truck Company Operations has a good section in it along with Norman's Tactics book.

There is not substitution for realistic training with forcible entry and quite frankly the majority of the fire service stinks at it unless its a residential structure.
