I work for a company, American Home Inspectors Training Institute, that trains people to become successful home inspectors. We have already trained many firefighters and have found that it is the perfect 2nd job. Unlike other training companies, on top of teaching you the material, AHIT also trains you on how to market your business and provides ongoing technical support. Home Inspection is a flexible career that can easily be done part time during off duty hours and provide a substantial secondary income! Plus the time and money involved in starting your business is very minimal. Anyone interested in more info please post or email me at nkomp@ahit.com, we have 38 live locations as well as onlin course options!

Don't hold your breath waiting for an email, guys. This was a hit & run spamming -- he hasn't been back in weeks.

Ignoring the thread starter..........I work with a guy who runs his own home inspection business on the side. He seems to do pretty well with it. It would be something to consider, especially if you have a construction background.
