    Smile Howard County, MD

I just got a call that I passed the oral, and am scheduled for a physical in a few days. I was wondering what the treadmill test is, specifically. Anyone been through the process or know? It doesn't have specifics on the 18 page med form as to what the treadmill test will be. If I passed the cpat will I have trouble with the treadmill part of the medical?

As a side note, it seems a lot of people here apply to Montgomery and Ann Arundel, no mention of Howard. Any thoughts on this?

can't tell you for sure, but I imagine its the same as Montgomery and PGs. You have to walk/jog on a treadmill for either 9 or 12 minutes, without your heart rate rising 90%. During the test they increase the speed and slope. It's really not that hard at all.
