Question New old guy from California

Hi, I'm Dan McCormick, retired from City of Berkeley Fire Department. In from 1962 to 1982, fell off roof and trashed my back and knees. Pensioned off before I had forty years in service.
I was an apparatus operator and EMT 1 (baby paramedic!). That title covered everyone who drove trucks, engines (me), rescue squad. (Old title was 'Engineer').
Yeah, I was there in the 'Radical Sixties' and it was an adventure, not just a job!
Need some Hazmat info... my wife was wondering about batteries in the electric cars. Are they hazardous in a fire? Looked on line but no info.

    Thanks...
    Dan McCormick...
