Are you talking about a paid firefighter? Or about jobs non volunteers have?
Paid firefighters get paid differently, depending on the department they work for. Pretty much have to check on a city by city basis to see the pay scale.

What he (^) said. Pay scales vary by city, township, county, or however else the departments are set up. It will vary based on cost of living, last contracts, and all of that.

Go look in the career forums. There are several discussions about wages and compensation.

I will have made $32,000 at the end of this year... Before taxes.
After taxes... Let's not go there!!!
These are my opinions, not those of my career department, my volunteer company, or my affiliates. And by the way, I'm not a Junior.

I know of full-time FF's making anywhere from $25,000 with no or very limited overtime possibilities to $125,000+ with lots of OT.

Speaking of income...Does anyone get paid (Explorer wise) for each run?

The closest thing I know of explorers getting paid is one post near me compensates the explorers gas when they drive to post related events or are paged to the station to go to a call.

Idk either. I know it is volunteer but they get paid six bucks a run and it all totals up and they get it every three months. It confused me thats why I asked. But I know my parents were volunteer and they got paid once a year where all their runs totaled up. lol idk thats why I asked.....

I am a complacent liability to the fire service
