You have to replace the whole thing.

Why, they are as about as useless as tits on a boar hog. A couple of workers and they are either melted, sooted up solid, or both. Leave the ones you have on, save the money and buy a pair of safety glasses for your pocket. Just a thought, good luck on finding the lenses.

I have never seen just the lenses for sale. You pretty much have to buy the whole setup......which isn't all that bad

Its like 30 bucks. They are useless anyway. Do your eyes a favor and get a pair of safety glasses so you dont get asked to rate moves with the letter ARRRRRRGHHHHHHH!

I agree, even if you have the bourkes you still need primary protection, ie: Safety glasses.

You wouldn't say that if you were a male boar hog.

    robbinklely...

If you can't find a source for replacement lenses contact the manufacturer of your helmet that came equipped with the Bourkes and ask them where you can get replacement lenses. They should be able to help you.

I know at one point they made and sold the lenses seperately because I have a pair in my office somewhere.

On a side note...this guy came on here and asked a simple question. Where to get replacement parts. He didn't post an opinion poll question. It seems to me a traditional helmet without Bourkes (knowing full well that you will need additional eye protection) just doesn't seem to fit in with the tradition of having to have that helmet in the first place. I would guess you could add the Bourkes/faceshield battle into all the rest of the strupid battles that go on here. Paid/volly, red/yellow, smooth bore/fog, PPV/vertical vent, salad bowl/cow skin.

Just wondering why you don't want to replace the whole thing? It just seems easier all around.

I agree with you to a point. But someone came on here and denigrated female boar hogs. That is simply not right and we should all be outraged.

Psst... George, A boar is a male, I think it might be most P.C. to call them "Gender Confused" Boars.

OK smarty pants. In NJ, the only boars we have are on the label of bologna.
