About LinkBacksAnyone going through Asheville's hiring process right now? It's pretty fast-moving. I take the written here in about two hours. Physical on 12/14, then interviews on 12/17-19. The people who get hired will start on 1/7/08.

Took and passed the written on 12/7, then took and passed the physical on 12/13. Had the oral board interview on 12/14, and just got a call today to come in 12/20 for an interview with the fire chief, which I'm told is the last step. I'm loving this lightning-fast process. I think 55 people got board interviews, and they're looking to hire 8-12 recruits for the January class. Not bad odds. Wish me luck!
