LAFD v Pasadena PD (ret.)
I've been following this dialogue for a couple of weeks. The long story short is this retired Pasadena PD Chief is going to city council meetings in Glendale, CA to argue that four person staffing is unnecessary and too costly. The LAFD person responding is constantly asking him to put forth claims that are more valid than hearsay. It's a pretty interesting exchange.
I have to agree with the LAFD respondent. I always love how people who have never been a firefighter know all about the job and what it entails.
For those willing to plow through the exchange, the most current postings are at the top and work their way down. It's sort of difficult to determine who is responding to whom, but it is pretty funny at times. The PD chief is clearly outside of his expertise yet tries to establish himself as an authority on the matter.

Sounds like this guy is on a personal crusade against the area fire service. I can't believe that anyone is taking this nut seriously. He speaks of secret meetings and other garbage. Wow, he must be bitter that his stint as a volunteer didn't work out.

What I find interesting is how many buttons this PD guy tries to push to no avail.Politics is like driving. To go forward select "D", to go backward select "R."
