    Default Future Technology

For school I have to do a project on a future technology. I can use any topic I come up with. Are there any technologies that are just now being put into service or being designed? Anything fire related I would be interested in doing. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Beer that doesnt go through you in 5 minutes would be a good start.

That's what cheap beer does to you. Drink Guinness.. the meal in a glass!

New Tech? How about developing an "in the facepiece" therrmal imaging system?

that or a face piece that just reads you the temperature of A: Your core temp or B: The temperature surrounding you so you know if its getting close to flashing.

or C: A face piece that tells u who is gonna win the upcoming week's football games

I like the idea of an in the face piece thermal imager. Wonder how far technology has to go before one can be developed and put into practical use?

I thought about that when I read the title of this thread.

I think that it's a good idea, but I can see people becoming to dependent upon the device. Some people already get tunnel vision with a standard thermal imager, what would happen when it's in the facepiece?

Maybe, if it was able to be turned on/off at the users discretion?

Perhaps a button mounted on the integrated PASS device? (In the Scott case.)
