Hi guys,
I am about to graduate college in May, and want to pursue a career as a paid firefighter. Still pending on whether to go to paramedic school or become a military firefighter...
I was told by a FF that now all branches are combined in the Dept. Of Defense Fire Academy..not sure how true that is?
If not what has been some peoples experience as a FF in either Army, Air Force, Marine, Coast Guard, etc?
What kind of commitment is it to be a military FF? How likely am I to be deployed (or active duty) and how to I go about researching this better?because obviously having trouble with it. Anything would be a help..
Thanks guys!
