theres going to be alot of work you have to do. Talk to local fire dept and they can point you in the right place. And you should go to college just incase firefighting dosnt work out you, have somthing to fall back on.

if you can get ahold of him, talk to calffbou. He's a firefighter in california, and can help you with what's required in California, depending where you want to go. They are on a huge hiring spree right now. California is sort of it's own unique entity when it comes to fire fighting.
