Default Hello from an arson guy in Glendale, Ca.

...No, not that one. Although I wouldn't be surprised if he checked out this website with all the free time he made for himself.
I am speaking of course of John Leonard Orr. One of the most prolific arsonists of our time. He was a fire captain and arson investigator for the City of Glendale before I started here.

Anyways, I wanted to stop by and introduce myself.

I am a sixteen year veteran of the Glendale Police Department.
For the last 5 years I have worked as a fire/arson/explosives investigator. I am one of two full time fire investigators for the City.
I am a certified fire investigator with the National Association of Fire Investigators and also with the International Association of Arson Investigators.
I really enjoy working fires and post blast explosions, and I hope to keep working fires for many years to come.
I will probably spend most of my time in the Fire Investigation section but should anyone need anything let me know.

Be safe, and thanks for the good info.

Nice. Welcome to the site. I'm actually thinking about becoming an Arson Investigator. I'm going through the whole college process now. I know one of the county's Arson Task Force investigators. He's an instructor at our Fire Academy.

    Cool Welcome.....

    Miguel,
Welcome to Firehouse.com. It's a cool place to hang out. By the way, I've gotta buddy that works for Glendale Fire Dept. We were Paid-Call FFs in Wrightwood together.....Ellingwood.
Well have fun..... It's great to see the difference in the West Coast (Left Coast) and the East Coast (Right Coast) differences in the service.
