Default CDF/Cal Fire Supplemental packet question

    Hi:

This is for anyone familiar with the FF2 or FAE supplemental application packet. I was just wondering if I can get credit for any of my Pro-Board or IFSAC certs from my DOD Firefighter days? From what I have read in the packet, the answer is NO. Please let me know if I am wrong on this one.

Also, can my Fire Chief write a letter stating my paperwork for Firefighter 1 has been submitted? Again I believe you need the actual cert to get credit, but maybe I am wrong.

Thanks for any help and stay safe,

    K

I would apply as well and mentioned you have your certificates accredited. They worst thing thst can say is "no", but you will never know unless you ask.
