Looks like the weather for saturday is going to be in the upper 70's, partly cloudy. It's gonna feel so much better compared to training in this heat.

I gotta be honest; I ran Sat and Sun in the heat. Today I cheesed out and ran on the treadmill. Believe it or not it hurt worse.

Today is going to be my last day of running before "the run" and wednesday my last day of lifting. Going immediately back to everyday following it.

Yeah, it says if you complete the run you get a letter of appointment to report for the 16th. If you didn't get your letter don't flip my list number is 2xx so they may not have mailed past that yet.

Mine did not come today, although I know one was sent to me. In the mid 700's. Most likely it'll come tomorrow. ALL of them were mailed friday.

got my letter today. Have to report to randalls island at 7am on saturday the 14th. If we pass the run in under 13 then we will be offered employment and will be scheduled to come back for processing on monday the 16th. The whether on saturday is supposed to be nice too, not that it matters. Im resting my legs for the rest of the week since i had my little minor injury and ima put my heart into that run. See you all saturday morning at 7 sharp.

Has everyone been testing themselves? What time are you completing for the 1.5 mile? I have been coming in at like 12 min, give or take 5-10 seconds, for the past couple of weeks. I am praying (hense the name) that i do not go any slower than that on sat.

Queens for me. I figured Brooklyn would get theirs first, as thats where FDNY headquarters is.

Are they still doing the 12 min run, 13 min remedial? or is it just make it under 13 mins altogether and you're good enough not to get remedial?

I'm on Staten Island but I seem to get my mail relatively quickly when it's from within city limits.
