Hi, I have been an active member of my local volunteer ambulance squad for close to a decade. This spring/summer I intend to take FF1. THe issue is that to take the course I have to have my own turnouts, but the fire department I intend to work at will only supply turnouts to those already certified (cathc-22). If anyone knows of a place to get used turnouts that will last the month and half that the course takes, or has an old pair that they would be willing to sell, or even give away that has 1.5 months left in them, that would be greatly appreciated.
