I'm in fire management II and I need 1 or 2 employee evaluation type forms from volunteer depts. If anyone has these, please send a pm & I'll get u a fax # or e-mail.

Uhhhhh, I've been around for 19 years in an extremely busy mostly all-volunteer county outside of Philadelphia. We are surrounded by multiple counties which are all mostly volunteer. I know many, many guys from many organizations, in one of the most populated areas on the eastern seaboard, extending from Baltimore to NYC.

That being said, I have never, ever heard of a volunteer FF being "evaluated" on an official form or in an official capacity.

As a "fire management II" student, shouldn't you be making your own employee evaluation forms??? I am sure that if you do a search, you should be able to find all kinds of employee evaluation forms and then tailor them to the fire service.

I appreciate the input, but the assignment is to locate and evaluate 10 employee appraisal forms from career, combo & volunteer dept.s.

I'm sure the instructor would like your ideas on how to run the class though.

I believe that the instructor should supply you with these forms, but that is just my belief. He should supply the class with some excellent forms, some poorly done forms and a few in between. This way, you could discuss the differences between them.

And if you are looking for 1 or 2 forms, that means the other 5 or 10 students must be doing the same thing to come up with the 10 forms that the instructor is asking for.

As previously stated, volunteer departments dont "evaluate" their volunteers....so why would they have forms?

If you use Microsoft Word, try browsing their website. They have some documents, forms, etc. on there that might be what you are looking for.
