MSA Altair

I am looking for feedback on the MSA Altair 4 gas meter. I have only been exposed to the solaris in the past and it appears the Altair may be taking it's place. Anybody who has field experience with this piece of equipment, I would appreciate your input. Also, if you could let me know what kind of price you paid per unit so I can know what to expect!

Haven't had that much experience with the Altair, but we are getting them for around $680 in Virginia. Seems to be a pretty stout product with infared programming, durable construction, and I believe it takes the same calibration kit as the Solaris.
