Tabletop Exercises
Just because it's called a throw bag, doesn't mean you throw the whole bag... you're supposed to hold onto the rope.

table tops
we do our own table tops. the way we do ours is by doing possible scenerios that could come up in our district. It is usually the officers that do the table tops for the command areas of their trainings.

Not really a tabletop, but I took some pictures from here and other web sites and put them in a powerpoint presentation to discuss different hazards, size up, where to take the first line ect. I tried to use it to show the young guys that there was more to riding the seat than playing with the siren and talking on the radio.

After we fix that Q of course!
But seriously, Gump, I'm gonna do the same thing then just give it to you to present to the officers/sr. explorers. Cause if I were to present it, we both know damn well what would happen.
-----------Edit--------------------
Gump, I grabbed a bunch of pics and will put them in a ppt and email them to you for review. Put a little background info on each call as well.
I'm also thinking about going around and taking some pictures of buildings here in Rossford. Then it will be easy to grab maps, aerial views, etc. pass them out to the people and have them draw up their own plans for Command.Last edited by backsteprescue; 01-31-2008 at 11:08 PM.

Well what do we have here...? A breach of command, have we?
Donald ain't gona have this... He's going to shut you down. This training is too valuable for sr. Explorers/Officers.
Kidding.
I'm excited- The day you guys are going to do this, Captain Simok will be absent because that's the way it is. Sorry. I'm sick of doing the same thing over and over and over and over.

This is one of the services my business offers clients- there's a massive demand for good ones to do it. Happy to come over (at your expense) and design them, and even facilitate (Additional expense) them!
