whats the pay for a FF/EMT?
I got a buddy that lives in Weatherford that I went to Fire academy with.... but he let his EMT lapse.
I've been trying to get him to try out for the fire service, but he makes 50k driving a concrete truck and has the weekends off. Its kind of hard to give him incentive to leave that.
Any ideas to help motivate him would be niceThe Box. You opened it. We Came...

As of April 1 pay for 1st year will be a little over 40k without overtime. Pay is one of many issues right now, but things seem to be moving in the right direction. As far as ideas to motivate - 24/48 = 10 days a month.

Just an update - as of Thursday there were less than 60 applicants for at least 9, maybe 12 positions. Applications are due the 22nd.

Damn, wish I had my ff1/2 completed already. Just finished up EMT and start for FF1/2 in April. Those numbers are promising, good luck to all!
