Anyone using Telestaff Software for overtime hiring or emergency notification?
Is it pricy and how easy is it to use.

The City of Greensboro uses it. http://www.greensboro-nc.gov/fire
Call them and ask. They're required by law to tell you.

We have it at work, and use it in a very limited capacity. It's okay when it works...

Telestaff
We have been using Telestaff for 3 years and love it. It produces our time cards, does all our call backs, and links to our CAD system. I would buy it again if I had to do it all over again.

We are a paid urban/surburban EMS 3rd servcie department runnign about 22K calls a year, with about 120 field staff, 15 of wich are volunteer. We use it for our schedualing, and it works well 90% of the time.
The key is in the front end set up...take the class they send you to seriously, there you learn how to write the "rules" for your department, a very complex process. If you write the "rules" poorly, you will create a monster.
We use it for schedualing, call backs, and have an interface built to our payroll system. We dont use the cal back system as much as other agencies, because we have other processes that are quicker..but we do use it.Steve
