Hey all!

I'm new to the firehouse. I'm currently on AD with the AF. I'll be going into the ANG and cross-training into the fire department this summer, very excited. I've been doing lots of research and reading up alot.

I keep seeing people saying get in shape now, but I haven't seen much recommended exercises or area to focus on (maybe i need to look harder) to prep for tech school. Can anyone shine some light on this?

I'm in pretty good shape. I'm a gym freak, and I lift alot. I'm a hard gainer, so I'm working on it. I came across crossfit about 2 weeks ago, and I'm hooked on it. It's such an intense program; I think it's way better than the stuff I've been doing in the gym over and over again. I'm just wondering if anyone heard of that program and what you think about it?
