IAFF and DOD
How many Federal DOD Firefighting jobs are union? I've seen a few bases represented by the IAFF. Is there any where I can get a complete list? I tried the IAFF website couldnt find anything

Some of the lucky (few) DoD facilities are represented by the IAFF.
The vast majority of the rest are represented by the AFGE (American Federation of Gov't Employees) and another simular union- of which I cant remember the name right now. Both of these Unions are absolutely USELESS to DoD Firefighters."Loyalty Above all Else. Except Honor."

Was having a brain fart.....
The two useless unions for DoD Firefighters: AFGE (American Federation of Gov't Employees) and NAGE (National Assoc. of Gov't Employees.)
Some of my AFGE memories:
-A "shop steward" that didnt know we worked 24 hour shifts
-The same steward needed to have it explained to him multiple times that we had to work holidays, fell under forced overtime, and he just could not grasp the chinese overtime concept.....
I could go on and on and on.......But basically, how can the same union that represents the janitors, or the secretaries, or the electricians; represent the firefighters?????"Loyalty Above all Else. Except Honor."
