    Hey Nate,

I bought the Don McNea books after I got ****ed of because I didn't pass Pasadena FD's written examination. The written prep book has excellent fire science information. Probably as good as any text book. The test taking strategies very simple and straight forward. If your looking for grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure review this is definitely not the book for you. But if you need to review your fire science material and refresh some test taking strategies, then you should buy it.

The Math prep books is really good. There a lot of math questions from arithmetic to algebra. All the answers are explained step by step.

    Hope this helps.
