    Default Hello from NH

I am new on here and figured this would be a good source of info for me as I prepare for the state test in NH this summer. I am planning on taking an emt-basic course in May up here and I am already using test books to study for the exam. I am wondering what else I can do to position myself to be better prepared for the exam as well as to be a good candidate as a new hire? Any suggestions are welcomed...thanks-Jay

Hi Jay. welcome! I am taking the NH test in the summer as well. If you want to be a good candidate obviously you are off to a good start since you will become a national EMT which is a requirement to be hired to any department. Getting your CDL and going through any firefighter training (FF 1 or 2 or C2F2) will get you Far!. Just study up and go for more certifications and you'll be good! I am a MA resident so it would be a bit more work for me! Hope i helped.
