    Default Fire Station Websites

    I know how each of you out there like to view other departments websites, even those of the individual stations within those departments. I wanted to put this site out there for all of you to view for your enjoyment hopefully.

    The layout is nice. Our fire company's website has the same concept with its navigation menu regarding the drop down sub menus when you hover your mouse over the menu titles.

    I will say, from a web designers standpoint, the website does use a lot of resources and takes a while to load. I visited the website from a few different computers as well on a few different ISP's and it's the same with each. I don't know what it is off the top of my head, but whatever is on the main page is taking its time loading. Your own FTP and web hosting could also be a factor in a decreased loading time. It does happen with our site when I try putting several images on one page. It usually takes a while to load for the first visit and t hen gets easier with each additional visit.

    Overall, it's a nice site. I like the layout, colors and all. Nice job to whoever designed it.
