Successful training narratives

Are there any successful training narratives to go along with SCBA grant app or vehicle app?

Not sure what to ask for? Do you pay for someone to come in to train the department or do you get some type of in house training videos or such?

All training needs to lead to a certification to be competitive, so if you have in-house instructors that can give certs then you can do it in house. Otherwise have to bring someone in.

What do you think they are looking for? Do they want to know that you are actively seeking training or actively receiving training?

We recieved a training grant in 2004, I think they like to see that you are actively recieving, but more than that they want you to show that you are taking the steps to get the training if you don't have it. I know that they want 100% certification if possible meaning train all the members you have not just a select few
