More like 10 or 20 threads. The search function is your friend.

Management is making sure things are done right. Leadership is doing the right thing. The fire service needs alot more leaders and a lot less managers.

"Everyone goes home" is the mantra for the pussification of the modern, American fire service.

Comments made are my own. They do not represent the official position or opinion of the Fire Department or the City for which I am employed. In fact, they are normally exactly the opposite.

Once again a relative newbie is set upon by the forum police...

Ever wonder why some of them never return?

My advice to all of you sage FH forum members...if you find a topic is a repeat of before and you have nothing to add...Click the mouse and leave the topic. Nothing says you have to post to every topic on the forums.

Perhaps instructing someone how to do a search might be helpful instead of making them feel stupid for asking a question that has been answered before.

The only one I see crying here is you. If you were a bitch with something meaningful to say, I would respect that, but your comment was just rude and worthless. Posts like yours annoy me more than his.

It might actually help the person who started this thread if you gave him a link to any previous threads you know of dealing with the same topic. Short of that, I agree with FyredUp in that you could either explain the "search" feature or simply move on.

"I have a dream. It's not a big dream, it's just a little dream. My dream — and I hope you don't find this too crazy — is that I would like the people of this community to feel that if, God forbid, there were a fire, calling the fire department would actually be a wise thing to do. You can't have people, if their houses are burning down, saying, 'Whatever you do, don't call the fire department!' That would be bad."

I'm going for double or nothing!

By the way, here is some info for the pocket thingy:

    You get the idea.

Now watch out, because some people will blast you for bringing a dead thread back to life.

Just someone trying to help! (And by the way....Thanks for YOUR help!)

Aggressive does not have to equal stupid.
