Nope. They are prob waiting for cranston/warwick to be done so they dont lose half their list when those two start offering jobs.

I received my letter on Saturday for the interview dates, so good luck to all on your interviews on April 12th.

Had my oral board on Saturday. I think it went well, they were vey nice and accommodating. It was a nice relaxing atmosphere, I wasn't as nervous as I thought I was going to be. Does anyone have any thoughts on how their's went?

Mine went well enough. I said what i wanted but it could have come out smoother. My head wasnt in it as much since things have taken off for me with Warwick Fire. Bottom line is they are putting a new station online and increasing staffing so the top 12 or so guys are getting offers at some point. I know of multiple people who did very well on this exam who are sitting pretty for cranston/warwick as well. I know of one who really wants NK but the rest are going to take other offers, me included. If you're not one of those guys and you did well on this one, things are looking up for you.

I mean what scores on the written exam are we saying is good? I really want NK and I think I did all right on the oral but you can never tell 100% how well you did until the list comes out. Is 80/90 good? or are we talking higher then that?

Top score I believe is an 87/90. I know a few people with higher than 80/90, myself included. Of those guys, I know atleast 4 who will accept other offers, and I know one who wants NK. I'd say you have at the most, 5-6 guys higher than you who will take the job. I'd be willing to bet that you are right on the money for an offer at some point, barring and awful interview or something. Good luck, post when u get an offer.

Has anyone heard from or received a letter yet since the interview?

I received my letter today from NK, I am around the top ten. I am very happy and hoping for a 2nd academy. How did everyone do?

I know that NK Fire hired 2 from the list a few months back, for an abreviated academy and I received my letter from the Chief making sure we are signing up for the state agility test in October. Just wondering if anyone else has heard anything about when or if they will be hiring off the list? Thanks a lot.

gdma did you take the April 2008 test. I'm unsure if I should take this Oct. test . I heard most departments will extend April 08 until the new test. Have you heard anything?

I did not take the April test, because I was planning on taking it this October. Some dept.'s will extend this past April's test to next October, from what I heard. So I have to take this October's test.
