Your post isn't real clear. Questions:

Your dept is career with some paid on call?

If so what is there salary?

Do you get $7.50 an hr plus $7.50 a call?
-So $15.00 per hr if you get 1 run and $22.50 per hr if you get 2 runs in that hr?

    What size is your dept?

If your full timers are working a 4 platoon shift they are earning $19.23 per hr. I would have to agree you are worth at least $10.00 per hr plus the additional for each run depending on how busy you realy are. That being said the ideal world would be they hire enough staff to hire all of you full time. Maybe that day will come. I think it's wrong to have part timers doing the same job for less. Some folks would label you as a SCAB! But that's another post.

I'm not a big fan of the POC concept, but if I were you I'd argue from 19.23 / hr with a one hour minimum.
