The guidance implies that SCBA that are post 1997 standard have little reason to be replaced. I am assisting a dept that has SCBA purchased from 1997 to 2002 all pre 2002 standard. It is well used and worn, they have three types of PASS devices, cylinders of all ages. Is there any possibility that it can be replaced is this new rule absolute.
Now the kicker, applied last year for turnout only and dropped in the last round. This dept needs to go for TO and SCBA. Should they combine or stay on the TO only road?
