VIRGINIA BEACH, Va (WAVY.com) -- Firefighters are on the scene of a stubborn business fire in Virginia Beach.
The fire at Allied Technology on Columbus Street, off Virginia Beach Blvd., began at 11:30 a.m.
Crews called a second alarm because the building is so large. Video from the WAVY News Town Center Tower Cam shows smoke billowing from the building.
Fire officials tell WAVY.com they ruled the fire under control just after noon, then at 1:30 p.m. it reignited in the roof. This fire caused doors to collapse, trapping several firefighters inside. A couple minutes later, the firefighters found an accessible door and escaped unharmed. A mayday which was called was cancelled.
The Virginia Beach Fire Department's spokesman tells WAVY.com they found the cause. A light fixture on the ceiling ignited and fell onto boxes containing computers.
There were two minor injuries.. An employee bumped his leg, but refused treatment. A firefighter received minor smoke inhalation, but was treated and released, and continued to work at the scene.

Amateurs practice until they get it right; professionals practice until they cannot get it wrong. Which one are you?
'The fire went out and nobody got hurt' is a poor excuse for a fireground critique.
