    Default EMS level of care

I'm working with an ALS ambulance service. They are requesting some new defibs. Question on the app asks what level of care will this equipment bring your service to?

Since the D-fib can also be used by Basics and even first responders, how should I answer that?

If they are already licensed by the state at the Paramedic level then there is your answer. you are not going to change your service level by buying equipment that can be utilized by a lower licensed person.
What type of "DEFIBS" are you asking for ?? just a simple AED shoebox or advanced monitor defibrillators with 12 lead and all the bells? That would only make sense to me to be purchasing equipment to meet the current license level of the service.
