    Default DoD Fire Cert

I am wondering how I become a DoD Certified Firefighter. I am a Firefighter in Ohio, and have 9 years of experience. Any info wil be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

First off, you have to be in the DoD system. Civilians are not able to get the DoD Cert simply by applying. If you are a civilian, then I would recommend that you pursue getting your certs from IFSAC. These are the exact same certs DoD issues; the only difference is that DoD certs have their seal on the cert as well as the IFSAC seal which contains the certification number.
