We are a volunteer station running 75 calls a month. We are looking for an inexpensive program for our fire reports. Must be NFIRS compatable. We have a computer system including desktops and laptops connected via wifi and sprint cards. Thank sin advance for any input

We use FirePrograms. Not too bad in price. I know of some others that use FireHouse. It is more expensive, but I have heard that it is a good program. With either of these, you are looking at about $800 to $1500 depending on features (plus a yearly fee is you like to have some kind of support).
Just someone trying to help! (And by the way....Thanks for YOUR help!)
Aggressive does not have to equal stupid.

Most states have free NFIRS software. You should be able to find something if you google Florida NFIRS. If all you are needing is incident reporting, free is pretty inexpensive.

Good Post cweaver. We too are a small volly department and we use the free NFIRS software. It's not as nice as a program like firehouse but it's free and it gets the job done. There are several advantages in firehouse, you can track inventory, training, personnel, certifications. In firehouse the narrative can be auto generated from data you put in. Those are a few of the advantages but I don't really see anything in firehouse that you can't track with other software like a simple spread sheet with the exception of the auto generated narrative.
We use firehouse at my paid department.

Fire house in my opinion is probably the best, there tech support is iffy but everything else is really user friendly and the fact that you can do everything from NIFRS to occupancy files makes it woth the price.
Just my opinion.
