Wish those kind of resources were openly available to the service, I completely understand why they aren't. The time to amass and organize the data is innumerable, but you get the idea. Maybe it is and I just haven't found it.

Those resources are openly available to the fire service. Contact your local Hurst dealer and ask them about the Moditech CRS system.

You can see more at www.jawsoflife.com or www.moditech.com

AAA publishes a towing and service manual for use by the towing industry that shows the battery locations on most of the makes and models. They also publish a lockout manual that gives the location of airbag sensors located in the doors. Sweet talk the AAA club rep and they will probably give you a few. They can also be purchased from AW Direct.

    Default New Pontiac G-8

While we're discussing hiding the batteries, the new Pontiac G-8 has it in the left side of the trunk.

Domi , I'm having a little trouble myself getting our members to spend the money as well. we have very little wiggle room in our budget, I can understand the initial cost, but i think that making that a yearly cost is too much. I know they have constant updates, but to charge the full price yearly is a tough sell to a small volunteer company with limited resources. The sad thing is that we do alot of vehicle rescue, and this info is invaluable. Additionally i have to say the the program is really well put together, we too have a demo and findit easy to navigate eand understand.
