    Cool Hello to all!

    Hi there! New to the forums...always been using firehouse as a resource but decided to jump on the forums to check things out.

    I'm just recently with Whatcom County Fire Dist. #2 in Bellingham, WA protecting the North Lake Whatcom area. I have been in the fire service for 4 years now...all 4 in Maple Valley, WA until February, 2008 when I moved up here to join this department. I am a volunteer and was a Senior Volunteer Resident firefighter in Maple Valley for the last 2 years as an Engine company and station officer with Maple Valley Fire and Life Safety. Glad to be here and hopefully can provide some good insight and definitely looking forward to learning a lot more from other areas.

    This kind of info sharing is how firefighters get ideas that some never thought of in their area and ultimately improve safety and hopefully will decrease the number of fatalities every year.
