    Default Fire At Fema Today

We were running around the National Mall for PT this morning when Engines 2, 3, 16, Rescue 1, 2 BC's and what I suspect was the Fire Inspector's car plus some other vehicles (couldnt see them behind the buildings on C St SW) went racing by. I guess this is where they were going....

Glad to hear no one was injured...they gonna need their trailers back so they can work until the fire damage is repaired?

The question is how did they manage the emergency?

They only could stand and watch because they didn't have the NIMS 100, 200, 400, or 700 training. Plus they didn't have enough time to formulate an Incident Action Plan.....by the time they did, DCFD had the fire out went home already.

I am glad no one was injured, but I do think that it is good for the feds to see what we do. Not to take away from 9-11 which the feds got to see more than they or we ever wanted.

    Good stop!

NOW THAT is the truth, Brother! Fortunately for most of us the Gap is about 150 yards of gravel and trees. heheheehehe And about 50-75 yards of pavement and concrete too (the roads and sidewalks). LOL

That was a great question, mostly because I was not aware that they even had names.

They were actually roads up until around the bicentennial time. It was a great place to park (2 hour limit if I recall) while visiting the museums, etc...

OW my eyes! Madison Drive NW and Jefferson Drive SW!

See how easy it is to get the streets mixed up?
