Burbank Volunteer Fire Department proudly protects 3600 people living in an area of 26 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status.
Burbank Volunteer Fire Department was established in 1961. We celebrated our 40th year in 2001. We are one of two departments in Canaan Township. We are proud of the dedication of all our volunteers. We constantly train in several areas that may need our assistance. We meet every Tuesday evening at 1930, Business meeting is the 1st Tuesday of every month, Fire/Rescue training on the 2nd Tuesday of the month, EMS training on the 3rd Tuesday of each month, and Orricer's Meeeting 4th Tuesday of each month. Additional training provided on those months, which have 5 Tuesdays.
