Fort Calhoun Fire/Rescue proudly protects 5000 people living in an area of 68 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a suburban/rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status.
Fort Calhoun Fire/Rescue was established in 1913. Presently there are 24 members that handle both fire and rescue calls serving at the EMT, EMT-A/D, EMT-I, and Paramedic levels.
