Cedar Fire and Rescue Department proudly protects 4000+ people living in an area of 150 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a combination of paid and volunteer status.
Cedar Fire Department is a Part-paid department with 1 full-time FF/EMT handling all administration and department duties. This department was formed in 1947 by local families seeing a need for fire service. EMS was formed in 1964.
