Lunenburg Fire Department

Lunenburg Fire Department protects a 29 square mile, primarly residential community, with a population of over 10000 people. We operate four engines, a brush truck, a ladder and two rescue/ambulances out of a new public safety facility. The Town of Lunenburg is located in North/Central Massachusetts.

Chief Scott F. Glenny, heads this combination department with 4 career and 38 paid on-call members. 27 members hold EMT or Intermrdiate EMT certification and serve on the Department's Rescue Squad which has provided EMS service to the community since 1969.

The Lunenburg Fire Department is a member of the Mid-State Mutual Aid Association and the Centeral Mass EMS Corp.
