Stewart Manor Volunteer Fire Department

The Stewart Manor Fire Department was established in 1927 and celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2002. We operate two engine companies, a heavy rescue truck, and a fully equipped ambulance response team. All members of the department are volunteers and live in either Stewart Manor or another bordering village. Stewart Manor is primarily a residential area with limited commercial buildings and one large grammar school. Calls range from local fire, ambulance, and rescue alarms to mutual aid for other departments in our battalion. The Floral Park Truck Company serves as our truck company since we have only engines. The department drills every Thursday evening starting at 7pm and every Sunday morning starting at 9am.
