Iberia Parish Fire Protection District # 1 proudly protects 42000 people living in an area of 390 square miles. We operate out of 6 stations that protect a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a combination of paid and volunteer status.
Our department has 12 Engines, 1 (2003) ALF 75 Foot Ladder Truck , 2 Services, 1 Rescues, 2 Tankers, 1 Rescue/Service, 2 Tanker/Service, and 1 Chief's Vehicle, each of the 6 stations has it's own color scheme for the apparatus and all takes pride in the apparatus. Also the departments all take part in the annual 1000 GPM water shuttle which provides the district with a class 5 rating for efforts shown in teamwork and hard work from all of it's members.
