Sebring Fire/Rescue proudly protects 10000 people living in an area of 15 square miles. We operate out of 2 stations that protect a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a paid status.
The Sebring Fire Department is rich in history and experience. Forest Howard a former fire chief of Sebring Fire Department played an intricate part in establishing the Florida State Fire College. The first classes were held at Daytona Beach. The second fire standards class was held in Sebring, FL.
