Operating from 4 stations with 6 firstline engines, 2 100ft plus arials, 1 heavy rescue, 1 tactical unit, 1 command post (self contained) and 1 brush/service unit. Newington handles about 1000 calls annually for fire/rescue situations, EMS is provided partially by a volunteer ambulance assoc. and commercial paramedic service.
