Tonopah Valley Fire District proudly protects 5000+ people living in an area of approx.320 square miles. We operate out of one station that protect a primarily rural/residential area. Our district is a public district whose members are on a combination of paid,reserve (paid per call status). Tonopah Valley Fire District covers an area of approximately 15 miles along the Interstate 10 corridor. Interstate 10 is a major artery of the nation stretching from the East Coast, to the West Coast. Vehicular traffic along I-10 ranges from the family on vacation to extremely hazardous and volatile commercial truck traffic.
