North Sabine Fire Protection District

North Sabine Fire Protection District proudly protects 10000 people living in an area of 425 square miles. We operate out of 14 stations that protect a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status.

The North Sabine Fire Protection District operates within the Parish of Sabine, and the State of Louisiana. Our Fire District serves Wards 5,6,7,8,9 & 10 in the northern part of the parish. We have 14 fire stations and 32 Units in service with 107 volunteer fire fighters. Our district was formed by combining 10 individual fire departments into one district in 1985. The Fire Fighters of the North Sabine Fire Protection District provide prevention, education, rescue, and fire suppression.
