Eldridge Fire Department proudly protects 2800 people living in an area of 3 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a paid status.
The Eldridge Fire Department is a full service fire department that provides fire suppression, emergency medical service, hazardous materials response,and technical rescue which includes; confined space, high and low angle, swift water, and auto extrication. Our department protects approximately 130 commercial structures and 1600 acres of wildland. The Fire District is unique due to its varying elevation. Sonoma Creek is 211 feet above sea level and less then three miles away on Sonoma Mountain it is just over 2,000 feet above sea level.
