Operating out of one centralized station,we serve a population of approximately 10,000 residents. Our borough consists of primarily single family residences and a fair amount of multi-family, garden apartments and condominium complexes. Our borough also boasts a 289 room hotel and numerous corporate headquarters buildings. We currently operate a 2003 Pierce 2000gpm (750 gal tank with a "Class A" foam system) engine, a 1991 Pierce 2000 gpm (500 gal tank) engine, a 1987 105' Pierce Tower Ladder (300 gal tank,1500gpm pump) and a 1995 Pierce heavy rescue unit. We are also the first responder confined space rescue team as required for our local utility department. Various haz-mat equipment is stored in a donated trailer. A new Pierce Ladder is currently on order to replace our 1987 tower ladder. This unit will consist of a 105' "straight stick", and is scheduled to be delivered by mid-December 2008.
